JEE Advanced is the second stage of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) in India. It is an entrance examination held annually to determine the eligibility of students for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Students who qualify for JEE Advanced are eligible for admission to the undergraduate programs offered by the IITs and Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad. The examination is conducted by the IITs on a rotation basis.

Detailed JEE Advanced 2023 Exam Pattern for Paper 1 and Paper 2

 JEE Advanced exam pattern 2023, the exam will be conducted in online mode having two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the papers will be of 3 hours each. JEE Advanced 2023 question paper will have multiple-choice questions with a single answer; questions with multiple answers, numerical value questions along with matching type questions. JEE Advanced 2023 marking scheme has the concept of full, partial and zero marks

The paper will consist of the questions from three subjects mainly, i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2023 – Remember you

  • This is a computer based exam
  • EE Advanced 2023 will be conducted as a computer-based exam.
  • The exam will have two compulsory papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the papers will be of 3 hours each.
  • The total time for PwD candidates will be 4 hours for each paper.
  • Both the papers will have three sections- Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
  • JEE Advanced exam will be multiple choice questions, questions with more than one answer, numerical value questions, integer digit answers and matching type questions.
