Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science (M.Sc. – 2-year regular) OR
- MCA (3-year regular) OR
- B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT/Computer Engineering (regular)
- Minimum marks: 55% (50% for SC/PwBD)
- Hindi/Sanskrit in Matric or as a subject in 10+2/BA/MA
- HTET/STET qualified
- Consistent academic record (50% avg in 10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation)

Stage 1: Screening Test (Objective Type)
Purpose:
The screening test is conducted only for shortlisting candidates. Marks obtained in this stage will NOT be counted in the final merit list.
Exam Details:
- Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100
- Time Duration: 2 Hours
- Language: English only
Negative Marking:
- ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer
- If a question is not attempted, option “E” must be marked
- Leaving more than 10% questions unmarked can lead to disqualification
Qualifying Marks:
- Minimum 25% marks required to qualify
- Candidates 4 times the number of vacancies (category-wise) will be shortlisted
Stage 2: Subject Knowledge Test (Main Exam)
This is the MOST IMPORTANT stage as it carries maximum weightage.
Exam Details:
- Type: Descriptive / Subject-based
- Total Marks: 150
- Time Duration: 3 Hours
- Language: English only
Qualifying Criteria:
- Minimum 35% marks required
- Candidates twice the number of vacancies will be called for Interview

- 87.5% weightage in the final merit list

- Maximum: 42 years

- SC/BC of Haryana: +5 years
- PwBD: +5 years (+5 extra if from SC/BC/EWS, max 52 years)
- Ex-servicemen: Service period + 3 years
- Women (widowed/divorced/unmarried): +5 years
- Haryana govt. ad-hoc/contract employees: Up to 52 years
