The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially released the notification for BCECE LE 2026 (Lateral Entry). This entrance exam allows eligible candidates to take admission directly into the second year of Engineering, Para-Medical, and Pharmacy courses in Bihar.
If you are a diploma holder or have relevant qualifications, this is a great opportunity to continue your higher education.
English is a Qualifying subject, do Not add Final Marks in the Rank card of English Subject.
But If You Fail an English subject then not Qualify BCECE LE Exam (compulsory to pass an English subject )

Marking Scheme – Candidates get +4 marks for the correct answer.

How to pass the Exam or get a Good Rank in BCECE LE 2026
If you want to pass the exam and be able to download the rank card, you must give higher priority to the English subject.
Out of 50 questions, if you answer at least 10 to 15 correctly, you will be eligible to download the rank card. However, if you fail in English, you will fail the entire exam and won’t be able to download the rank card. Therefore, it is very important to qualify in the English subject.
If you want a good rank, like under 100, to get admission into a top college, you need to study hard and score well in Mathematics and Mechanics.
