Total Internship Vacancies: 35. The notification also states that the number of vacancies is indicative and may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the establishment.
DRDO CVRDE Internship 2026 – Stipend
Selected interns will receive:
₹5,000/- per month
The total six-month stipend is structured in two slabs of ₹15,000 each, covering three months per slab. The stipend will be directly credited to the student’s bank account.
For stipend payment, interns must complete at least 20 working days per month at CVRDE and maintain good academic performance.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be regular students pursuing a full-time engineering degree from a recognised Indian University/Institute.
For B.E./B.Tech
- Candidate must be studying in 7th or 8th semester.
- The discipline must correspond to one of the disciplines mentioned in the notification.
For M.E./M.Tech
- Candidate must be studying in 1st or 2nd year.
- The discipline must correspond to the advertised disciplines.
Only regular students from AICTE-approved technical institutions or UGC-approved universities are eligible.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be:
Below 28 years as on 01 July 2026.
Academic Qualification / Selection Criteria
Candidates should have a good academic record with:
- Minimum 85% marks OR 8.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
- Minimum 8.5 CGPA or above continuously maintained in previous semesters.
- Candidates with backlogs are not eligible.
- Selection will be made entirely on merit basis.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed through their email ID along with joining instructions.
Important: No equivalent qualification or related branch will be considered.
Nationality
The internship scheme is open only to Indian nationals.

Step 1
Download the DRDO CVRDE Paid Internship application form.
Step 2
Fill the application form in the prescribed format. The form is required to be filled in capital letters and includes details such as applicant name, date of birth, category, Aadhaar number, college details, discipline, branch code, CGPA, address, bank account and contact details.

Attach the required documents, including the college Principal/Director’s Reference Letter/NOC, marksheets and Aadhaar copy.

DRDO CVRDE Internship 2026 – Selection Process
The selection will be based on merit.
Candidates should have:
- At least 85% marks or 8.5 CGPA.
- Minimum 8.5 CGPA continuously in previous semesters.
- No backlogs.
- Age below 28 years as on 01 July 2026.
Shortlisted candidates will receive joining instructions through their registered/email ID.
Internship Benefits
Selected candidates will receive:

A completion certificate will be awarded after successful completion of the internship, and students are expected to submit a project report for the work assigned to them.
Important Rules
- No boarding or lodging expenses will be provided.
- Students must make their own arrangements for boarding, lodging and transportation.
- CVRDE canteen facilities are available on a payment basis for lunch and tea.
- Students receiving any other stipend from another institute are not eligible.
- Police verification is required at the time of joining if selected.
- A medical fitness certificate from an authorised medical practitioner holding at least an MBBS/BAMS degree is required at joining.
- CVRDE/DRDO has no obligation to provide employment after completion of the internship.
- Late, incomplete or erroneous applications will be rejected.
