ISRO Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
1. Electronics
Candidates applying for Electronics posts must have:

- Minimum CGPA 6.84/10.
2. Mechanical

Important CGPA Rule
Candidates should carefully check how their university reports CGPA and percentage.
Where both CGPA and percentage are mentioned on the degree certificate or consolidated marksheet, at least one must satisfy the ISRO/DOS eligibility requirement. Where only CGPA is mentioned, the CGPA itself must satisfy the prescribed requirement.
Conversion of CGPA into percentage is not permitted for determining eligibility, even if the university provides a conversion formula.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is:

Age relaxation is applicable to eligible categories such as serving Central Government civilian employees, Ex-servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per Government of India rules.
PwBD Reservation

ISRO Scientist/Engineer Salary 2026
Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix.
The minimum basic pay is:
₹56,100/- per month
In addition to basic pay, candidates will be eligible for applicable:
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Transport Allowance
